Mumbai: BJP has appointed a four-member task force to get the black money back from Swiss bank accounts to the country within 100 days of acquiring power at centre, claimed BJP's PM in-waiting L K Advani.

BJP's task force has already submitted an interim report on the case.

He said that according to estimates, the Indian money in Swiss banks ranged from anything between Rs 25,000 lakh crore to Rs 75 lakh crore.

Addressing a press conference here, he said, ‘As many as 17 countries act as a tax haven for those people who deposit their black money there.'

Advani said, ‘The black money deposited in these countries helps in financing terrorism. We will get back the money to the country and utilize it for developmental purposes.'

He also appealed to the media to play a meaningful role in such issues involving nation's interest.
Earlier, the BJP leader had said that he had written to the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh on the issue but he had done nothing about it.

Attacking on Congress, Advani said, ‘Congress party is least concerned about corruption and it is clear from Congress manifesto. They have not talked about corruption at all.'
