New Delhi, Apr 2 : Bollywood actor-turned politician Sanjay Dutt today appointed national general secretary of Samajwadi Party.

The Bollywood actor today briefed media about his new role in the party after the Supreme Court turned down his plea to contest Lok Sabha plea form Lucknow Parliamentary constituency.

However, he denied to comment on his earlier remark that a Union Minister threatened him.

When reporters asked him to name the minister he categorically denied and said Amar Singh could announce the name in this regard.
