Barwala, Apr 28: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party for ''exploiting'' the name of Lord Ram to gain power saying ''the chair of power is the only Ram for this party.''
While addressing an election meeting here in support of Congress candidate Jai Prakash, Mr Hooda charged the BJP with ''Bringing up the issue of Ram Mandir when out of power and forgetting it soon after gaining power.''
Mr Hooda claimed that all big projects of power, irrigation and education had been undertaken during his regime and problems of electricity was handed down to him by his predecessors.
He said,'' I have honestly worked like a servant of the people and even if there have been some drawbacks, those will be removed in the times to come.''
''We have taken care of all the sections of the society equally,'' he added while seeking votes for the party candidate.
