Lucknow, Dec 21 : Victories in the Assembly elections in Delhi, Rajasthan and Mizoram have emboldened Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi in fielding questions from the media, if his responses to queries on Thursday and Friday in his parliamentary constituency of Amethi are any indication.
Concluding his two-day visit to Amethi, Rahul appeared very much a professional politician, adept in handling the media.
To a pointed question about his views on Mumbai terror attacks, Rahul said he had already said whatever were his views “on the floor of the Lok Sabha” and he would not like to say anything more. Then, he looked at the next questioner.
On seat-sharing talks with the SP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he said “Let’s see what the outcome is.
The media will be the first to know about the final results of the talks." Party sources said that Rahul had played a “very important role” in selection of candidates for the recently held Assembly elections in the six states.
