VK Singh ‘Farmer Soldier Agenda’ Conflicts/Hurts BJP RSS Base

BJP RSS agenda to defame and crippled UPA government back fired when Gen VK Singh appeared on Anna and Ramdev platforms and addressed rural crowd.

There was Instant Panic – First BJP RSS withdrew support to Anna Hazare team when they decided to confront Corruption ‘Politically.’ Out of funds out of BJP support there was nothing in Anna to stand on.

Same was the case with Ramdev – VK Singh promoting ‘Farmer Soldier Agenda’ was in conflict with Bania Trader support base of BJP RSS.

People know Anna Ramdev are BJP RSS puppets.

VK Singh has enough support to ‘Lead Farmer-Soldier Political Alternative’ and is actively mobilizing them months before retirement.

‘Black Money & Corruption’ – planks to defame GOI actually EXPOSED BJP RSS supporters.

Farmers and Soldiers for ages know ‘Sources of Black Money & Corruption’ – knew them for generations – are Economic Rivals. Traders Bania bribe politicians against Farmer-Soldier interests. Day and Night propaganda didn’t move a single person in India . People knew who are behind Anna & Ramdev.

Political Leaders don’t write Books & Thesis just go by instincts without caring for consequences, greater the Challenges and Risks greater the rewards.

VK Singh support shall be Farmers and Soldiers – BJP RSS shall be in firing line – Congress Competitor or Collaborator at times.

Real fight would begin when VK Singh plunges in to politics.

Former Army chief Gen VK Singh joins Ramdev's protest, calls government 'property dealer'
PTI Aug 12, 2012

NEW DELHI: After sharing dais with Anna Hazare, former Army chief VK Singh today joined yoga guru Ramdev's protest here, dubbing the government as a "property dealer" which takes over farmers' land in the name of development.

Singh participation in the protests came two months after he retired from service during which he had taken on the government on his age issue.

Earlier this month, Singh had appeared at Jantar Mantar here on the last day of Hazare's fast. He was also one of the signatories to an appeal to Hazare asking him call off his fast and work towards a political alternative.

Addressing the gathering at Ramdev's protest here this afternoon on black money and Lokpal issue, he claimed that over two lakh farmers had committed suicide since 1995 and accused the government of taking over their land in the name of development.
"Problems of farmers will have to be taken to the forefront of this movement ... The government is taking land from farmers in the name of development. The government is working as a property dealer," he said addressing the crowd which was predominantly from the rural areas.

The former Army chief alleged that a scam was being reported everyday and value of each scam was higher than the previous one. "What we want is complete all round development. Money shouldn't be distributed among just 4-5 per cent of the people only," he said.

Noting that there was a need to stand firm in the agitation, he said if corruption is not stopped, one has nowhere to go and emphasized the need for "some tough action".

Criticizing the policies adopted by the government, he said it is government's duty to work for welfare of people.

"But after liberalization, you can get a pizza within half-an-hour but you won't get an ambulance in more than two hours. You can get a bottle of water in Rs 15 but you won't get clean drinking water from the tap," he said.

"Only 5-7 per cent of the population is benefited. Rest are left behind. Whatever money comes, it is held by 4-5 per cent," he said.

Will back Anna and Ramdev: General V K Singh
TNN Aug 15, 2012

JAIPUR: Former Army chief General VK Singh on Tuesday said he backed both Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev as he saw no difference between the agitations of the two social activists.

"Anna is creating awareness among the masses by raising the issue of corruption, while Ramdev is raising the issue of black money stashed in foreign banks. Both are important issues and I am with anyone who works for the welfare of the country," Singh said.

The former Army chief supported Anna's demand for people getting the right to recall their elected representatives so that only honest politicians get to occupy positions in the government. He did not rule out even joining politics in the future.

"If the right to recall demanded by Anna is brought, several politicians in the country would begin to fear losing their seats as most of them work only during the elections. They forget things later on," said Singh, while speaking to reporters during his visit to the city on the invitation of a Rajput organisation.

In response to a question whether he would join politics if a non-Congress non-BJP third political front were created, Singh replied, "Who knows about the future."

He expressed concern over the rising number of suicides in the Armed forces and the professional difficulties faced by soldiers post retirement. Singh said he would be touring the country highlighting the soldiers' issues. "The Centre alone cannot provide relief to former Army personnel; the state governments, too, have to do their bits," he said. The former Army chief 8emphasised it was 8disturbing that suicides by soldiers on peace postings were on the rise.

On corruption in the Armed forces, Singh said, "During my tenure I said we needed to focus the Armed Forces' internal health. (Corruption) Cases keep surfacing every now and then and you all know this. I tried to improve certain things and now wish that the improvements would continue to happen."
