Considering that the fate of the Chief Minister S Yeddyurappa and his government in Karnataka hangs in the balance, with even a few MLAs going missing having the power to totally re-arrange the current political situation, this new turn of events promise a return to further brinkmanship.
With this in mind, and the fate of their government in their hands, BJP workers on Wednesday staged a demonstration in front of opposition Congress leader Siddaramaiah's house here protesting against what it called "hijacking" of 11 of its MLAs.

The workers were led by MLA Vijayakumar. They held placards which read that BJP MLAs have been held hostage by Congress and shouted slogans against Siddaramaiah. The Congress had staged a protest in front of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa's official residence on Tuesday against BJP's alleged attempts to lure party legislators into its fold.
