Mumbai, In a bid to reach out to voters in the run-up to Lok Sabha elections, a city-based firm has planned a ‘Vote Yatra’ to educate the electorate.
Apart from wooing first time voters online through www.indiavoting.com, ‘Insite Digital’, as part of the ‘Vote Yatra’, will hold over 500 kerbside shows, according to Sanjay Ramamoorthy of the firm.
Vans would travel the length and breadth of the country to create awareness among voters through cartoons, magic shows and street plays.
The Yatra aimed to reach out to over a million voters in more than 150 constituencies during its 15,000 km journey across the country, he said.
The vans would reach the constituency at least five days before the polling date to sensitise the voters.
