Bhubaneswar, Apr 20 : Star BJP campaigner and Bollywood actress Hema Malini is using her yesteryear charm and popular movie dialogues to woo voters in Orissa, where the party is going solo after its seat arrangement fiasco with the ruling BJD. Shouting dialogues like "Chal Dhanno, ye Basanti ki izzat ki sawal hai," from Bollywood blockbuster 'Sholay', Hema, who held rallies and road shows in Talcher, Dhenkanal, Choudwar and two places in the state capital, asked people to make senior BJP leader L K Advani the Prime Minister of India.
"You all have enjoyed my films. In return, I want your support in fulfilling my desire of making Advani the PM. We all need peace and progress. This can only be achieved if BJP comes to power," the former superstar said.
Claiming that Advani was secular to the core, she said the Congress is deliberately describing BJP as communal in order to divert people's attention from its series of failures.
The dreamgirl, however, did not say anything against Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his party BJD.
