New Delhi, Apr 13 : Khimji Patadia is the richest candidate contesting the Lok Sabha Elections. According to the Affidavit submitted by him, his assets are worth 514 crore rupees. He is contesting the Lok Sabha election from Gujarat's Surendranagar constituency as an independent.

Next in the list is Andhra Congress leader L Rajagopal. He is seeking re-election from the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency and has declared assets worth 299 crore rupees.

Samajwadi Party's Abu Azmi, who filed his nomination from Mumbai North-West, has assets worth 124 crore rupees.

Film actor Chiranjeevi, who is making his debut in electoral politics from Palacole Assembly constituency in his West Godavari district, has declared assets of 88 crore rupees.

Industrialist Jaganmohan Reddy, the son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister who is in the fray on a Congress ticket from Kadapa Lok Sabha seat, has assets worth over 77 crore rupees.

Among the political bigwigs, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, senior BJP leader L K Advani, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, his daughter Supriya Sule who is contesting from Baramati have declared their assets over a crore rupees. RJD Chief Lalu Prassad, LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan and Praful Patel are also crorepatis.
