Political parties have shifted their focus, and are now concentrating on terrorism. Both the Congress and the BJP have accused each other of going soft on terror.

The BJP has said that the Mumbai terror strikes that took place when the Congress-led UPA government was in power at the centre is a clear-enough example of the Congress' failure in containing terror strikes.

BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley said the UPA has even failed to initiate legal proceedings against Ajmal Amir Kasav, the only terrorist behind the Mumbai terror attacks to have been caught alive.

The Congress is also not willing to sit silent, and has hit back accusing the BJP of going soft on terrorism when the NDA was in power.

Congress general secretay Rahul Gandhi recently stated that it was the BJP-led NDA that had failed to curb terrorism when it was in power at the centre.

Meanwhile, the RSS has come out in support of Lal Krishna Advani, the BJP\'s prime ministerial candidate, who is also accused in the Babri Masjid demolition.

Prime Minister Mamohan Singh has also taken strong exception to the BJP\'s allegations.

The question as to who will be a better prime minister of the country will only be known in the time to come, particularly after counting of votes takes place on May 16.
