He was speaking at a BJP election campaign rally in Urva Store and said, “The people of India are aware of the Congress which failed in effective ruling over years of governance. The youth and minority sections of the country are looking towards this party (BJP) by joining it in large numbers”.
Talking about the candidate, Yeddyurappa said, “BJP has fielded a common man and a party worker for this election which means that this party will be sending a simple man to parliament. The party is asking for votes only through development work done in the state after it came to power and not with the help of money or liquor”, he said.
