Ajmer is where Congress leader Sachin Pilot's political fortunes will be tested this election. Delimitation forced him to leave Dausa in Rajasthan, his father's constituency.
So how tough is it going to be for this young Gujjar leader?
The seat may be a new and tougher battle for him, but politically it's a win-win situation for him with top congress leadership showing faith in his potential to turn around a sitting BJP seat in congress' favour.
"I feel humbled by the responsibility and I know lots of expectations are there from me," said Sachin.
But delimitation changed what would have been a cakewalk for him second time round. Ajmer, his new karmabhoomi is a traditional BJP stronghold.
Unlike Dausa, Ajmer has a mixed population with the Sindhis being the largest vote bank. But with Gujjars in Ajmer a close second, Sachin Pilot seems more than ready for the challenge.
Ajmer is also arguably one of the most literate districts in Rajasthan, which works as major plus for the educated and dynamic MP.
"It's Ajmer's fortune that we are getting such educated people coming here to represent us," said a resident.
"He is young and that has excited the youth in the area," said another resident.
However, there are some sceptics as well.
"If he is so educated, why does he really need to fight on caste equations?" said a resident.
Last polls, Sachin Pilot's win was more on emotion. If he pulls off a win this time, it will mark the arrival of the young leader.
