Mangalore, Mar 17 : A Mangalore Court banned Sri Ram Sena Chief Pramod Muthalik from entering the Dakshina Kannada district for one year. Muthalik's Sri Ram Sena was involved in the attack on a group of women inside a Mangalore pub, Amnesia in January 2009. Mangalore is the headquarters of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. The order to ban Pramod Muthalik's entry was passed by District Magistrate V Ponnuraj, which comes into effect immediately. Muthalik and several Sri Ram Sena activists were arrested by Mangalore police after the pub attack, but later released on bail.
