Kohima, Mar 13 : The three-day third session of the 11th Nagaland Assembly was adjourned sine die by Speaker Kiyanilie Peseyie today.
During the session, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who also holds the Finance portfolio, presented a Vote-on-Accounts for four months from April for Rs 1774.29 crores.
The session was curtailed in view of the enforcement of Model Code of Conduct by the Election Commission of India for the coming Parliamentary elections.
The session also passed three Bills–The Nagaland Appropriation (No. 1, 2 and 3) Bills, 2009, Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 1996-1997 and 2008-2009.
