Moga, Mar 18 : The district election officials today issued Show cause notice to Punjab BJP president Prof Rajinder Bhandari and Moga district BJP’s Yuva Morcha president on charges of violating the model code of conduct.

According to assistant returning officer-cum-sub divisional magistrate Ajay Sood, Punjab BJP president had yesterday addressed an election meeting organised by BJP’s Yuva Morcha in the local marriage palace for which the organisers of the election meeting did not seek any permission and did not inform the local police.

Moreover, Mr Bhandari was also found using a red beacon on his personal vehicle, in violation of the model code of conduct.

Party posters were also affixed on the building without any permission.
