Saifai: The Samajwadi Party (SP) landed in fresh trouble as the party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is accused of distributing money to people, violating the election model code of conduct.

According to the reports, the party workers distributed money to people at a Holi celebration organised for SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav at Saifai.

SP workers handed out Rs 100 to every person present at the celebration, as a part of tradition followed here for years.

District Magistrate and SP of Ettawah city have rushed to Saifai to inquire about the case.

However, the rival parties are leaving no stone unturned to blow this matter against the SP leader. Several national parties have demanded a strict probe an action in the case.
