Mumbai: After Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, Congress MP Govinda allegedly distributed cash to his fans during Holi celebrations.

According to the sources, the actor-turned politician distributed Rs 500 notes among the fans who were gathered at his residence to celebrate Holi.

Meanwhile, the issue has taken political hue and opposition parties have described it as a breach of model code of conduct.

However, the actor has made no comment in this regard.

It is believed that the actor has distributed money as a Holi gift but the Election Commission has taken it seriously and sought a complete report into the matter.
