The national flag used in the website was withdrawn after it was pointed out that the flag should not be used for campaign purposes.
The foundation had also said it was improper to use it for advertisement. The flag code was introduced by Advani when he was Union Home Minister, a release from the foundation said.
The foundation welcomed the step of the BJP which withdrew the national flag from the website and advertisement.
