Valentine Day hots up in Karnataka

On the one hand Sri Rama Sene who has threatened to ruin the V-Day celebrations in Bangalore by calling it an “anti-Indian” practice, youth wings of many parties and student leaders have shown their determination to keep the city safe and peaceful on February 14.

The state Youth Congress has decided to put up a fight against what they called "Talibanization" and "saffronization" of Karnataka.

"Youth Congress workers will hold a rally in all district headquarters to counter the Sangh Parivar, which is trying to increase communal polarization in the state," said Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress president Krishna Byregowda.

He also alleged  that the BJP government is providing the required encouragement to Sangh Parivar outfits to unleash "barbarous" attacks on others with different opinions.
