The two-day national executive meet of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin on Saturday at Guwahati in Assam.

The Party will discuss the current political situation in the country, the main focus will be on the corruption issue and price rise.

According to the party sources, BJP will again convey it to the UPA government that they want action and not false promises.

The issues like 2G Spectrum allotment scam, Commonwealth Games scam, Bofors scam and Adarsh Housing Society scam will be taken up in the meeting.

The party will also discuss their electoral strategy for the upcoming assembly elections in five states this year.

BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said that we would definitely also discuss the situation prevailing in the North-East, including illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.

The national executive meet will be attended by top party leaders including LK Advani, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, Sushma Swaraj and Narendra Modi,
